What is Canine Corona virus?
The corona virus causes vomiting and diarrhea. It usually affects only puppies and sometimes requires supportive care in the form of fluid supplementation. There is a vaccine for corona virus but it's use is controversial because of the low probability that adult dogs will contract it. The disease is rarely life threatening. Most boarding facilities require the vaccine and most puppy vaccine protocols include it as well. |
