What is Canine Adenovirus Type 2?
This is a virus that causes upper respiratory symptoms in dogs. It is usually a complicating factor in kennel cough. CAV-2 can be contagious for up to 9 days in affected dogs. This virus rarely causes death but is usually included in puppy shots and boosters for adult dogs. |
