Originally from Minnesota, Jeff moved to the Northwest after graduating from the University of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Over the years, he has developed a special interest in acupuncture therapy, and is certified in veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.

Jeff's interests outside of veterinary medicine include scuba diving, backpacking, tai chi and Argentine tango dancing. Jeff and his wife, Donna, live on a small horse farm with their two dogs, Smudge and Sugar, and two horses,
Charlie and Ed.
